We are improving the health status of the community
We, the members of the Somali Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, recognizing the need for a professional body to advance the practice of obstetrics and gynecology, to promote women’s health, and to improve maternal and child health services across Somalia, do hereby establish this Constitution to govern our association.

- To advocate and promote high-standard ethical practices in SRH. To promote research in SRH.
- To extend knowledge through innovative educational programs in which students and emerging scholars are mentored to realize their highest potential and assume roles of leadership, responsibility, and service to society.
- To promote and encourage research in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and allied arts and sciences.
- To apply knowledge through local and global engagement that will improve quality of life and enhance the good health of the region’s people.
